Licensed where we work

Pebyl Financial is an independent insurance agency. The agency and each writing agent maintain resident and non-resident licenses through the applicable state Department of Insurance, with appointments held directly with the carriers we represent.

If we aren't licensed in your state, or aren't appointed for the product you're asking about, we'll tell you up front. We will not solicit, quote, or place business outside the lines of our licensure.

You can verify any U.S. insurance producer or agency through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) and through your state's Department of Insurance license lookup:

• NIPR National Producer Lookup — search by name, license number, or NPN.
• NAIC state department directory — each state has its own producer search.

To get our agency NPN, the writing agent's name and NPN, and a current list of states we're licensed in, email compliance@pebyl.ai and we'll send it the same business day.

We are appointed with multiple A.M. Best–rated carriers. The carriers we can place with vary by state and product line. We disclose the carrier and the carrier's current rating before you sign anything, and you'll always receive the carrier's product brochure and disclosure document with the application.

Annuity and life insurance contracts are backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuing carrier. In addition, every U.S. state operates an insurance guaranty association that provides limited protection if a member carrier becomes insolvent. Coverage limits, eligibility, and rules differ by state and product. Guaranty association coverage is not a marketing tool, and by law we cannot use it as the basis for a sale.
