Your information, handled like ours

When you fill out a contact form, request rates, or schedule a call, we collect the contact information you give us: name, email, phone, state of residence, and any context you choose to share about your goals. We also collect basic technical information your browser sends automatically (IP address, user agent, referring page) and standard analytics about how the site is used.

We do not request, and you should not enter on this site, your Social Security number, date of birth, driver's license, or banking information. Any sensitive data required to issue an insurance contract is collected directly by the issuing carrier or through a secure carrier-supplied portal, not by Pebyl Financial through this website.

To respond to your inquiry, schedule meetings, send the rates or illustrations you requested, and follow up on a quote you've asked for.

To stay compliant: state insurance regulators, NAIC suitability rules, and carrier appointments require us to keep records of communications and recommendations. We retain those records for as long as state law requires.

To improve the site: aggregated, de-identified analytics about which pages are read and which calculators are used.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with unaffiliated marketers. We do not use it to train third-party AI models.

If you submit information through this site, it goes to the licensed Pebyl Financial agent assigned to your state and to the operational systems we use to run the agency (described below).

This site uses essential cookies required for the site to function, plus standard first-party analytics so we can see which pages and articles are useful. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.

We do not use cross-site advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.

We use a small set of vendors to operate the site and the agency. They only receive what they need to do their job and are bound by contract and their own privacy and security commitments. These include the hosting and database provider that runs this site, the scheduling tool used for booking calls (Calendly), and the email/CRM system used to follow up on inquiries. Any insurance carrier you ultimately apply with will collect application data directly under that carrier's privacy notice.

You can ask us at any time what information we have on file for you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we are required by insurance law and carrier appointment agreements to retain). You can opt out of follow-up emails using the unsubscribe link in any message we send.
